| Hi All, Another Paper all wrong. Webster served in the 99th, during the Zulu War. The 1881 census gives him in Barracks at Devises, b.1848 Phillips Town King's Cty Ireland. 1901 census he is married to Annie and has one son, living in Portsmouth. In 1904 is is imprisioned for 3 yers on 3 charges, theft, and the carnal knowledge of a 13/16 year old [we would call this rape now.]. On the 1911 census he is a Widow and Army Pensioner living Landport Portsmouth. He dies in Portsmouth March Qtr 1917. Rai Keynshamlighthorse. |

| Rai I think the original charge would have read Felonious Use of Carnal Knowledge. As you say Rape, but the initials of the original charge still linger. Frank |

| Eddie if you read Rai's post you'd see Webster wasn't at RD . If something is grossly in error I believe it doesn't serve any purpose by posting it. 90th |

| Hi 90th
I understand what you are saying, I was only adding another newspaper article. In some cases, even though they were not at RD, the information may lead to another link to somewhere else.
