Hi All . There is a further breakdown of the troops per ship , sent to Sth Africa regarding John's post . The ' Narrative of the zulu war ' gives you the number of troops and officers that were on each ship and when they left and arrived etc etc . If anyone has the book and can scan it onto the forum that would be excellent . Sorry , I have no idea ! . Cheers 90th.

Ok found it's on the pull out sheet, bit to big to scan. However took a photo of the numbers of men. Hopefully it will show how any men were sent to SA. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Hi John . Yes thats the one , I did post the total numbers in my earlier post and you have done as per the bottom of the sheet . Unfortunately as you said its to large to scan properly , so therefore we dont have the exact troop number per ship . Possibly Admin may have an idea on how to post it in a reduced format ? . Cheers 90th.
