| Hi All, I have been working on a few pieces lately and would like to share them with you. These are all major conversions from other figures and my depiction of the following characters. The first is the colourful Hamilton-Browne, the second is Commissary Dalton and the third is a Corporal of the 24th. The rock on the base of the Corporal is an actual piece I was given from Isandlwana, this one is still W.I.P. whilst the other two are primed and ready for painting. I have included a photo of the original figure so you can compare the major changes. Hope you enjoy [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]cheers Richie Hamilton-Brown [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Commissary Dalton [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Corporal 24th Foot [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Richie,
Excellent stuff, a question though, did you use Alix Baker's painting as a source of reference for Dalton?

| [img][/img] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Hi Impi, Jimu, The1stLt, 90th & Martin Thanks you all so much for all your support and gracious comments. I have just about finished all the conversion work and sculpting so besides sorting out the fitting as it is only blue tacked together it's ready for painting in the future. Jimu I used a few different sources for the Dalton sculpt, not specifically Alix Baker's but I will certainly check out his work. A few extra photo's for you all. cheers Richie [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Hi chard1879, kwajimu1879 & The1stLt, Thanks you guys for the nice comments, I really enjoyed working on these two, the bust was the first time I ever painted in a figure in oils. I am currently working on my version of Hamilton-Browne & Commissary Dalton, when I have these done I will post them. I still have a couple of outstanding projects to do and a load of new ones planned so watch this space as they say.

| David. Just to make you aware. I have recently purchased a very expensive glass display case. I intend to at some stage put some very expensive artifacts in it. But I'm willing to delay my plans, to accomodate your models. I only offer this, out of the goodness of my heart, and for no other reason. By the way excellent work! |
