Tracking Ancestors

Dear Members. I'm new to the site and have found it very infornative and real. I have spent some time tracking on my ancestors and this site and other sites tracks me back to Maqondo, Manyonyoba and Magonondo. Does anyone have information on these people, they were all part of the 1879 wars. I'm interested in their photos and graves. Any other ibforation on the will be of great help.

Are you looking for info on Quetuka kaManqondo or his father?
If Quetuka then he was from the Umdhlenevu regiment, Ingwege, before becoming an induna of the Tulwana. He took over that position from his father.
From JS vol4 pp83
Quetuka was the great induna of the uhlangoti of the amaXoza and amBunsuman sections of the Tulwan regiment. He died at Kwa Nambita, that's at the mouth of the mhlatuse river on the Mandaba ridge.

In terms of the war he was probably most famous for ignoring the order to join with the Tulwana and hold back from charging after Raw, he joined instead with the Kandempemvu in the attack.
I cant find reference at this stage to your other ancestors but will carry on looking.
