| Margary's father was Major General Henry Joshua Margary.
Captain Margary was one of 11 children and eldest son of the General.

| A snippet on Captain Margary ..In the Forsyth Roll his initials are listed as A.F. which may be incorrect ? , he was entitled to the ' Zulu War Medal ' with Clasp 1877-78-79 . It wasn't returned to Woolwich Mint so he no doubt managed to collect it . 90th |
