We are all here to communicate and enjoy the various discussions and information on the Anglo Zulu War of 1879. Opinions will vary, you will agree and disagree with one another, we will have debates, and so it goes.
There is no excuse for harassment or bullying of anyone by another person on this site.
The above applies to the main frame areas of the forum.

| Yes he does, I wonder? There is a photo I'm told of three RE officers standing together one being Chard VC and one apparently might be Hayes but cant find pic. Many thanks once again for all the help and time taken over this. Nigel |

Do you have any biographical details on Haynes?
I have another photograph identified as ‘Haynes R. E.’ However, it looks nothing like the one Andy posted, so it might well be the Haynes killed by the Matabele in 1896.
