PostSubject: Lt. G.H.B. Elliott 4th Foot Image Wanted   Sat Oct 27, 2018 2:27 pm

I have enjoyed reading for a few years . This is my first post. I am looking for a group or individual image of Lt. G.H.B. Elliott 4th Foot . I have a Wilkinson Pryse revolver that the Wilkinson records show he purchased in 1878.

ofdunk,

Do you have any details of any courses that George Henry Blois Elliott attended? I have a number of Hythe Musketry course and Staff College group photographs. If you could pin him down to either of those it might help.

I also have a number of unidentified officers from the 4th, but I cannot even tell which battalion they served in.

I take it you have tried the Regimental Museum? I note that the NAM holds a number of uniform items relating to him.

Kenny,

It is just like twenty questions, and who is this person that you suggest I e-mail?

I resorted to my former calling:

Peter Donnelly, Curator
King's Own Royal Regiment Museum
