Treaties entered into by Sir Garnet Wolseley with the Zulu chiefs individually at Ulundi, Fort Cambridge, Conference Hill and Pietermaritzburg between September and October 1879, by which the Chiefs acknowledged British victory and accepted their territories and chieftainships under the British crown of Queen Victoria. Supplementary conditions were explained to Sibebu by the British resident, Zululand and agreed to at Inhlazatyi on the 5 January 1883. These treaties bear the signatures of Sir Garnet Wolseley, Sir Theophilus Shepstone and the Chiefs and Indunas.
