Zulu Dawn:Corporal Storey : [to the soldier next to him, referring to the ammunition] Soft 'eaded buggers these. Flatten out against the bone. Smash 'em out. Storey's mate: But bullets run out... and those bloody spears don 't.

The medal to Thomas Walsh has recently come from a friends collection in the UK. Its moved around a fair bit in the last couple years - hope it finds a good home; a brilliant medal.

The chap who sold it, is also selling a Rorkes Drift defenders medal pair. We will likely see this one surface in an auction house like DNW etc.?

hi dave.
I saw the other medal , but only listed the well known one . I was lucky I came across the medals
as I only check the sites every 3 mths to see which medals have been sold and the new ones
which appear. Had nothing to do last night , so I had a bit of a look . Sad
cheers 90th. 😕
