Great Photos but a problem here i do not think this is our man but it is a family grave??/
Our
Modern Ewart Carthew-Yostoun 2nd Lt 1/24th,b.8 oct 1858 d.12 feb 1922
his father also Modern died 1888
Our Modern E married a Nellie H Knight and had a daughter who died 14 nov 1935 and is buried at East Tinwald.
Our Modern E is buried Alley 8, Le Grand Jas, Cemetery Avenue de Grasse Cannes..

Here's the inscription i based this on.

I could make out, Morden Carthew-Yotstoun.

Born 1885. Died 1928?

Black Watch.

So some of the details add up.

Possible a memorial to his name only.

ARCHIBALD MORDEN CARTHEW-YOURSTOUN

BORN 1855 DIED 1929.

Also a

MAYNARD ELIZA BOGIE ( Wife of the above)

Question. Was the above in the Black Watch Question
