Lord Chelmsford invaded Zululand without the knowledge of the British Government in the hope that he could Capture Cetshwayo, the Zulu King, before London discovered that hostilities had begun.

Sometimes they pop up on ebay uk or ebay. com ( usa).
check ebays weekly and you will come across one eventualy . :confused:

hi littlehand .
That is when the engraving ( for want of a better word) has been erased from the rim. I think that
is what EOA means , as for finding one with 1877-78-79 bar , Good Luck :) . They are scarce as it is.
And they are worth more on the market. I just had a quick look in my book , and last time I checked there
were 8 for sale , The least expensive was 620 quid , 6 others between 1000 - 2000 , the last an Isandlwana
recipient just on 7000 quid.
