| Hi Mike Should read Herbert Valentine Jay Natal Native Contingent, B.1855 D,15 May 1879, Buried Fort Pearson Military Cemetery son of James I Jay of Lewisham. I was at the cemetery looking for Gunner Howard when we rediscovered the family memorial to Herbert about 10 years ago.
