There were several other RD defenders in this colleciton of which I do not have details

I viewed this collection with my father in approx. 1988 - 89; it was a once in lifetime experience. I only wish I thought to take some pictures.

This collection was raised in the early and mid 70’s and dissolved in the early 90’s.

hi joe.
In answer to your question between 520- 550 pd if it has the 1879 clasp , about 440 - 480 without a clasp .
In other words those medals entitled to clasps are more valuable than those without .
cheers 90th

ps. I dont have a copy of the 2009 or 2010 medal year book but in the 2008 book the valuations are

1879 clasp Naval medal 550- 650 , unclasped 280- 300.
1879 clasp Army medal 450- 500 , unclasped 280-300
1879 clasp Colonial medal 350-380 , unclasped 220 - 250.

They would be certainly worth more today .

hi joe .
I may have over estimated the value of the unclasped medals , take off 100 pds on all the unclasped medals which I did initially
value at 440- 480 pds. So now somewhere in the region of 340 - 380. Hope this makes sense scratch .
cheers 90th.
