| Col. William Molyneaux served in six campaigns, having initially enlisted in theStaffordshire Rifle Volunteers in 1876. He served in the following campaigns - ZuluWar 1879, Transkei 1880, Basutoland 1881, Defence of Ladysmith (MiD) asCommandant of the Town Guard, Natal 1906 and in WWI (MiD). Received theCAFLSM (1908) as Lt.-Col. Commandant of Cadets, the 1902 Coronation medal andthe Union of South Africa 1910 Medal. |

| MOLYNEUX William Henry Arthur , (1854 – 1916) Took part in the 1879 Zulu Campaign with N.M.P. Awarded Medal and clasp. Secretary to Railway Commission 1882 Clerk, Colonial Engineers Office, May 1883 Accountants Clerk January 1886. Resigned January 1888. RSM Natal Carbineers 1886 – 1887 and from 1892 to October 1893. Sergeant-at Arms Legislative Council 23 November 1890, Sergeant-at Arms Legislative Assembly July 1893, District Adjutant, Volunteer Department 8 October 1893 Appointed Acting Staff Officer, Volunteers 1 May 1900 Paymaster Volunteer Force from April 1901. Acting Ordanance Store Officer from 1 May 1901 to 14 November 1901 Major Volunteer Staff 29/09/1899 -1/05/1902. Operations in Natal 1899, Defence of Ladysmith, including sortie of 7 December and action of 6 January 1900. Despatches London Gazette – 4 December 1901. Officer Commanding Ladysmith Town Guard during Defence of Ladysmith. Granted Honarary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in Army. Awarded QSA and clasp. Acting Controller of Arms 6 April 1902. Led the Natal Carbineers Contingent to Coronation of King Edward in 1902. Promoted Honarary Lieutenant Colonel whilst on duty as Secretary, Cornoation Contingent 6 May 1902. Reverted to rank of Major 11 January 1903. Appointed Staff Officer of Cadets 1 January 1903.

| Hi All He died on 23 December 1917, serving in the first world war in South Africa, he is buried in Potchefstroom Military Cemetery CE420. Rai Keynshamlighthorse |
