1879graves,

Thanks for posting the photograph from the link. I still haven't figured out how to do that.

Any idea who F. Harvey was?

Hi Petty Officer Tom

I have found five Harvey's listed on the medal roll but only two received a clasp on the medal, so now down to two.

Able Seaman C. Harvey, HMS Active 1877-8-9
Private G Harvey, HMS Shah 1879
Domestic Class Three J.W. Harvey, HMS Active No Clasp
Able Seaman W. Harvey, HMS Orontes No Clasp
Stoker W.H. Harvey, HMS Himalaya No Clasp

Checking the original Medal Rolls now and will let you know.

Looks very much like the same group as in the article picture.

I do not have an Egypt 1882-89 Medal Roll to check to see if Harvey is listed on it.

Does anyone have an Egypt 1882-89 Medal Roll ?
