Lt. Melvill: Well done, Sir! Did you see that Noggs? Deceived him with the up and took him with the down. Norris-Newman: Well well, this one\'s a grandfather at least. If he\'d been a Zulu in his prime I\'d have given odds against your lancer, Mr.Melvill.

Hi lads one of the new boys, Got into the zulu war when i was a lad, but i have just started to collect stuff in the last 2 years am amazed how much there is to read on the op. The new book by Ian Knight (Zulu Rising) i haven't started to read it yet is it a good one?. I saw the ebay shield and spears are up to 260 pounds with 1 day to go. If anyone happens to know if a fair is on this weekend can you let me know as i am looking for a patrol jacket from the period for sale i would be up for that thanks. Al.
