"Came across the following individual on the Great War Forum & wondered if anyone knows any more about him. There is apparently a 2144 CSgt D. McCulloch of the 2/21st Regiment (SA Medal with 1879 bar) listed in the medal roll.

Name: McCULLOCH, DAVID TRENCH
Initials: D T
Nationality: United Kingdom
Rank: Captain
Regiment/Service: Royal Army Service Corps
Age: 65
Date of Death: 19/03/1919
Additional information: Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. Son of Barrack Warden Alexander Emperor McCulloch; husband of Annie Elizabeth McCulloch, of 46, Dobell Rd., Eltham, London. Served in the Zulu War (1879), and in the South African Campaign. 51 years' service.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: 2181.
Cemetery: ELTHAM (ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST) CHURCHYARD"

A few further details
David McCulloch b.1854 Kilmainham Dublin, attested 28Aug 1867 age 13 and 7 months, No 2144 2/21st, attested as boy promoted drummer 10 sept 1868, private 27 march 1873, corporal 19 feb 1876, sgt 1 april 1878, colour sgt 20 feb 1879, re-engaged to complete 21 years service at netley 22 july 1880, reverted to sgt 5 oct 1882 to staff 12 sept 1884 transferred to Kings Own Scottish Borderers as sgt 1 april 1887.
Attested at westminster height 4 feet 4 and half inches
service to southafrica 22 feb 1879 to 24 may 1880, again south Africa 3 nov 1880 to 4 jan 1882 to East Indies 5 may 1882 to 24 feb 1884 all other service in UK, discharged 13 dec 1890. Service 23 years 108 days.
Served Zulu 79, Sekekuni 79, transvaal 80-81,
Medals SA 1879, Long service Good Conduct
M[1] G Kicady? at woolwich 1878, M[2] Anne Elizabeth 1906
Having served in the First World War he would be entitled to those medals [I think he would have been serving only in the UK]
Grave reference No 2181 St John Baptist C/y Eltham
I have also looked for his WW1 papers but with to no joy..

Missed out his 1911 census address being Earlshall Road Eltham Kent as Army Pensioner Barracjk Warder, this address would tie in with the similar address of Eltham listed by Tim above 99% sure they are the same person.
