any one help with information about the regiment my great great uncle served with [img][/img]his name was George Dalgarno i dont know if the picture that i have added here can be seen but it is a clipping from the staffordshire weekly sentinel on his death in 1938 The clipping says that he served with the King's Royal Rifles Corps in 1879 and served another 8 years with the 5th North staffordshire Volunteers it also has the information at the bottom saying
946 pte G Dalgarno 60th Rifles thank you T.J

Sorry to say 946 Pvt. G. Dalgarno doesnt appear on the Forsyth Medal Roll , SthAfrican War 77-78-79 . For the 3 / 60th KRRC

I am unable to see the image of your great great uncle Mad

I have checked the Medal Roll for the name of Dalgarno and have drawn a blank.
I have also checked the roll for the Service Number 946 and was unable to see it listed.

The picture was a clipping from the staffordshire sentinel in 1938, that is all the information i have
