We are planning a reunion of John Dunn's descendants during December of 2012. We are aiming at getting into the Guinness record book as the largest family in the world from one man. The last count was approximately 6000. So we need to find EVERY descendant of the great chief be counted in order to lay rightful claim to our place.

If anybody can assist with information it would be great. Also in need of sponsorship, media presence, etc. :)

Hi Zelda,

Welcome to the forum.
I think your idea of a Dunn celebration in 2012, is an absolutely splendid idea.
Being a Nataller I know about the pivotal parts that those early families, ie the Dunns, Fynns and Ogles played in Colonial Natal, one could almost say their doings ARE the history of the Colony.
Please keep us up-to- date with your plans for the big bash.
