PostSubject: Caleb Wood   Sun Dec 18, 2011 8:26 pm

Many years ago, I was researching the lives of some of the soldiers who took part in the battle of Rorke's Drift. I recall that Caleb Wood died at the Green in Ruddington, number 2 as I recall, which at the time of his death was a fish and chip shop. Does anyone know of the connection of the Chip shop to Caleb Wood. My info is about 15 years out of date, but at the time of my research I heard that the Chip shop was eventually boarded up and was found many years later, and is now in the Ruddington Museum.
