Does anyone have any more infomation regarding a bullet that was taken from Durnfrods body??

I have been told twice know that it is on display at the RE museum.

Does anyone have any infomation regarding this ??

Try emailing the RE museum? It would be interesting to know exactly all of what they have relating to Durnford.

I have heard they have his sword, trunk, papers, medal,some knecklaces he picked up in Zululand.


I don't see how a bullet could have been taken from his body, no historian makes mention of it Suspect

No. This was not what you might have called common practice, unless a post mortem was carried out.
