Lt. Melvill: Well done, Sir! Did you see that Noggs? Deceived him with the up and took him with the down. Norris-Newman: Well well, this one\'s a grandfather at least. If he\'d been a Zulu in his prime I\'d have given odds against your lancer, Mr.Melvill.

Hi Pascal

From Zulu by Saul David

Durnford then mounted his trusty grey pony Chieftain and rode out the camp.

Cheers

Hi DB14

Thank you, you're great!

But be careful because for some, grey horses are white !

Another told me that the horse was 'dappled'?

To be seen with pictures of painted miniatures, which has been done ...

Cheers

Pascal

I know that you do put Saul David on a bit of a pedestal. If I were you I would ask him to name his source for the horse colour. Other sources incicate it as a White Basuto Pony.
