David. Welcome to the forum. Thanks for posting this excellent photo. I’m sure many of the members will feel the same. Do you have an interest in the Zulu War in general? Or just on the media side.

Thank you for the welcome.

I run an online business, 'Propmasters', specialising in actual film used props, costumes and associated ephemera. I also personally collect such items from a varied spectrum of films. The 'Lieutenant Coghill', portrayed by Christopher Cazenove, original costume design is one of three different original costume designs recently acquired. In my experience, Military costume designs for films are some of the most attractive film costume designs of them all. I have a large selection of original costume designs from Khartoum (1966), starring Charlton Heston, on the website which are equally as stunning.

I just wanted to share with people whom I thought would appreciate it . I will post images of the other two if there is interest?

kind regards,

David

Hi,

Here is a picture of the hand drawn concept costume design for 'Quartermaster Bloomfield', portrayed by Peter Vaughan.
