We are all here to communicate and enjoy the various discussions and information on the Anglo Zulu War of 1879. Opinions will vary, you will agree and disagree with one another, we will have debates, and so it goes.
There is no excuse for harassment or bullying of anyone by another person on this site.

| "Richard Babbington was born at Boston, Lincolnshire, and enlisted for the 60th Rifles at Grantham on 8 July 1876. He served in the Zulu War of 1879 from March 1879, and during the Boer War of 1880-81. He was wounded at Ingogo River on 8 February 1881, by a gunshot in the right forearm, the bullet entering just above the wrist and passing up through the muscles of the forearm. He was consequently invalided out on 4 October 1881." |
