| Hi Tasker . The Album was put together by G. Barley who fought in WW1 , I have a photo of George ? I'll post it or send it to you via the pm service . I was lucky enough to purchase the album from Dr. David Fox via E-bay who is a member on the RDVC Forum . Glad you like them . Cheers 90th. |

| Hi All . Littlehand this may be right up your alley , do you think you can find some info on Barley which is the chap who put the Album Together ? . I think his First Initial is ' G ' his surname is of course Barley , I have an address in the back of the album which says 33 Martins Avenue , Croyford ? Crayford ? slim chance the ' F ' could be a ' P ' so maybe ' Pond ' could be the last four letters . A native of kent may be able to sort it out , I think Pete's from Kent ? . On the back of his photo is stated Aug 19 he is also wearing Corporal stripes . Cheers 90th. |

Barley's cap is that of the Royal Berkshire regiment. No men of this name, in this regiment died in the Gt War, so good news! |

| Just got around to viewing these photos. REALLY OUTSTANDING. I have seen a few others also. The photo showing the road going into the Battlefield. There used to be a farmhouse on the left side of the road. In the photo I saw, there were deep ruts in the road. Appreciate viewing these. Best Alex |
