PostSubject: Dates of birth and dates of death for Ntshingwayo and Sergeant Simeon Khambula   Wed Oct 03, 2012 9:40 am

Good day,

As a newcomer to this forum, I am doing research into the events of the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879, focusing specifically on Ntshingwayo kaMahole Khoza and Sergeant Simeon Khambula. While I am familiar with the narrative around both figures, I am looking for their respective dates of birth and dates of death. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could provide these, or refer me to a resource that could assist.

Many thanks,

Stuart

Hi StuartH.
Welcome to the forum and hope you enjoy all the info on here . Ntshingwayo was born about 1810 and was Killed during the Zulu unrest when Zibhebhu launched a surprise attack on the Royal Homestead on 21 july 1883 . Simeon Nkambule ( Often spelt Kambule ) , sorry no luck , if you type his name in the search box on the left hand side you may come across it in a previous thread .
Cheers 90th.
