I bid that up to £2400, nice medal but most of the price was in the letters which always make large sums, wouldn't be suprised if letters and medal are split.

Shame if they do get split, i also noticed the DSO groups were family related, would be nice to think someone in the family bought and reunited them Salute

Hi Towerboy .
I've just found the morewood medal on the auction site and sent them an email asking the hammer price ! . So , thank you
for posting it . Salute

Agreed the Letters no doubt pushed the price but let's hope they arent split . I've recently purchased some letters from a chap from the 80th Regt who died at Utrecht after he'd taken part in the Battle Of Ulundi , so I've been fruitlessly searching for his medal - which is appearing to be like trying to find a needle in a haystack ! Suspect . Sad

Isandula .
Great photo and thank you very much for sharing it with us , much appreciated . It's always good to put a name to a picture .
Cheers 90th.
