Zulu Dawn Film Lt. Col. Pulleine: Lord Chelmsford assures us that there is no way the Zulu can get around us without our knowing. Col. Durnford: Zulu generals have a nasty habit of doing the unexpected. It might be wise to picket the hills.

LH,

Not knowing the date or source of your cutting, don't know why you source them!

There was a Private 25th Brigade/412 J Cassidy, 2nd/24th, who enlisted at Manchester, Lancashire on 24th July 1874, aged 22 years of age, who may be subject of the report.  According to Norman Holme's 'The Noble 24th' Cassidy had a connection to Brighton in 1881.

May be we should add him to the list of defenders as well, or may be not.

Sorry about that I'm sure I posted the link at the bottom. Doesn't seemed to have appeared.

Try again.

LH,

Cheers!  The date obviously fits in with 'The Noble 24th' mention.
