Hello Everyone, Wanted to share some of the images in my collection of the great Zulu commander Ntshingwayo. He served the Zulu royal house from Mpande to Cetshwayo and was the leading commander behind the victory of Isandlwana. He served the royal house through the bitter civil war and was killed, along with many others, at Ulundi by Zibhebhu and his forces. Even the great Zibhebhu was struck by the loss of this great commander.

Posting beneath a picture of their forebear, Dr. Paul Matawele and his son William, at the Museum of the Royal Welsh, Brecon.

I think the family might have donned a redcoat in the past.  William dons the scarlet cloth in a different mode!
