Well, at least this article has given the credit for this brave action back to the 24th (2nd Warwickshire) regiment (where it rightly belongs), and also pointed out some of the other mistakes in this film (of which there are many).

Now, if only other articles, places, books, magazines, web sites, etc, etc, etc, would follow this articles example, then the 24th (2nd Warwickshire) regiment might just get the recognition, justice and glory that it fully deserves, and bring to an end the myth that the regiment was welsh and called the swb, when in actual fact, there was not even a regiment with a welsh name that ever took part in the AZW.

Nice find Les.  agree

Hi Les.

Well mate, I don't get any of the daily rags (to full of ad's and other junk), I just watch the news on the telly or go online for anything of interest. But like I said, at least this article at long last gives the credit back to the 24th (2nd Warwickshire) regiment (to which the glory and the honour rightfully belongs), rather than go along with the same old lies about it being an all welsh affair, which, as you know, is a load of tripe that was propagated by Baker due to the anti English chip on his shoulder, ironically however, he played the part of an Englishman and an officer rather than play the part of a common soldier from his native Wales, mind you, there wasn't that many welshmen for him to play was there?  No

Cheers mate.

Hiya Martin, yeah i dont buy n p's any more either!
i dont like being force fed other peoples opinions..
yes Cardwell and his ilk brought about the demise
of many a famous regt with his reforms, no chance
of the old 24th being forgotten with people such as
your good self.. As to the ludicrous over exaggeration
of the welsh connection!.out of the total garrison now
revised to 155 ( jw ? ) the welsh of any connection
only amounted to fifteen percent!! cheers Les  agree
