| I am looking to buy a nice honest Martini Henry mkI, possibly one that has been converted to mkII although it must (of course) be pre 1879. Does anyone out there have one that they wish to sell? |

| Hi Neil. It seems that you are the wright person to contact as what I can see form the people who are looking for to purchase a 1879 original-martini-henry rifle mk 2 or similar to that. As just recently I had found through forces war records that my late fathers family who came from wales did have a distant family member who fought at the defence of Rorke's drift.
And if by chance that you do have a rifle for sale could you possibly let me know how much it would cost to purchase. and with been an ex service man retired it would be good to ad more to the family connection and to place on the wall with my collection of my fathers and the family military history.
Regards Peter |
