advanced age. what else have you in the pipeline?.

Interesting to see that the group 'Blake' took part, as one of the group had a well-known distant relative who was killed at iSandlwana.

I'm not sure Chard and Bromhead died broken men? As suggested in the video. Agreed they both died young, but from illness.

Yes John, now all we need is for the boffins to crack on
with Ebola, if a western nurse gets it, they move heaven
and earth to get them back home, be it here, Spain, or
Texas, meanwhile..thousands of Africans are dying and
the world govt's do next to nothing, the sight of Sir ?
Bob on that thing they called x factor made me actually
want to throw up!..because yet again they expect ordinary
people to fork out! the world is a very broken and sick
place.

But on a lighter note and at least connected more firmly to
the topic, i bought this an hour ago..£3.99. i have never
been a gamer, i gave up after ridge racer 01..so it will be
put away with my other 'ZULU' memorabilia as a curiosity.
unless anyone has a spare console? joke.

Hiya Mate, short answer is i don't have a clue!
but now you have pointed that out..i'm wondering
is it cassette five out of five? or is it the whole
thing, but at the price i'm not too mithered either
way, the old zx spectrum was one of the first
generation of computer consoles, very basic, a
box with a keyboard and a cassette tray, i have
never used one but my son's have, i'm told that
the console goes for mega bucks online.. its a
retro 'thing' apparently..                   xhosa

Just seen your post 24th..nice one for that.

Zulu 50th Anniversary Premiere film Empty
PostSubject: Re: Zulu 50th Anniversary Premiere film   Zulu 50th Anniversary Premiere film EmptySat Nov 29, 2014 2:10 pm

Here we go again, yet another example of keeping the false welsh myth alive and well. Why are blokes singing MoH? Would it not have been a lot fairer to have had a small military band playing 'The Warwickshire Lad', after all, that was the regiments tune at the time of RD, and Warwickshire was also the regiments title at the time, not the swb. Another thing is why did blokes who (according to the hoax film), were supposed to be from south wales sing about a place in north wales? And why pick MoH, after all, it was a Lancastrian song in honour of the Lancastrian men who defended Harlech castle during the wars of the roses against the yorkists. Seems to me like the taffs just love to get in on the act and steal the honour and the glory that is not theirs, and avoid at all costs giving any sort of recognition to the rightful 24th (2nd Warwickshire) regiment and its overwhelming majority of Englishmen that did the business at RD.

Maybe if they want to keep up the welsh hoax, then they should have sung the old Platters number and just altered a word and added an extra 's' at the end of the title, they could then have sung "Oh yes, were the great pretenders". Shame on the lot of them.
