It's an excellent book ' The Zulu War - Then And Now ' which is part of the sale , I'm certain you would already have it ? .
I dont have a '' Buffs '' Medal Shocked

Hi Gary

I much prefer to go for medals that have some background to them, nothing fancy, but just so you can put a bit of history to the man. Otherwise they are a bit anonymous for my liking. So although this one looks OK I won't go for it - unless of course it sticks at a very low bid (unlikely). I agree about the book, and it's pretty old now.

I tend to agree , you certainly need to have some information on the individual who was awarded the Medal , I like records and Service papers and the like ! . Yes I wont be going for it either , if it stays low Good Luck if you decide to have a ping at the stumps ! Very Happy
