The 'Diehard' is Ian Church. You can spot him in Heath Ledger version of The Four Feathers if you look carefully.

Waltham Abbey was pretty un-defendable. The Impi spent the previous night in Epping Forest and used both carriageways of the M25 to press home the attack. I blame it on Durnford.

Ummm. scratch

When we go camping at Horton in Ribblesdale, I will have to don my 24th (2nd Warwickshire) regiment togs, and along with my trusty MH, I will have to stand guard of the tent, just in case any of those impish zulus are hiding around the banks of the river Ribble, after all, lets face it, Mrs Shifter needs her sleep at night, and if she gets woken up by zulus shouting 'usutu' I will never hear the end of it. No
