| 90th Take some wet weather gear Gary. It took me 5 hours today to get from RD to the Airport, normally 3. The weather is really bad, heavy rains, winds and mist, really thick mist. All the rivers are flowing, the Buffalo is close to flooding in a number of places. The Ngwebini has burst its banks behind Mabaso and the culvert on the iSandlwana road is flooding by around 200mm. Barry Those stanchions don't exist anymore. Im going to post a couple of picks of an MH for you and possibly Neil to look at, the safety on the side is a strange shape. Steve Ive got all the picks you were looking for from the SW hills. Frederic It was a resounding success. Julian Some of the points that have been discussed over the last few months have been delved into such as the members of the Adams family at iSandlwana etc.
Shall start posting in a couple of days.
Cheers |

| Hi Frank, Thanks for looking. I last saw them there at least 4 decades ago. I am sure that a wee dram or two of anti-cyclone elixir, taken hourly, helped you to get you through the week. Joking aside, what you saw in the weather was only the peripheral stuff. Inhambane province, over the border, around Massinga, had 20,000 homes destroyed and much infrastructural damage. There were 7 known fatalities. The season is not yet over, so perhaps the big one is still coming. Gary may just get it.
regards
barry

| Fully expected you would camp out with just a blanket to get an authentic feel for 1879. Looking forward to the pics.
