Questions
1) Is this a Zulu War Medal
2) Who is the Officer

What I do know
His is an Officer of the 4th (King's Own Royal) Regiment
His surname is Rowlandson.

There is a John Rowlandson listed on the Medal Roll

The King's Own Museum list this officer as Alfred Turner Rowlandson.

3) Is this the same Officer?

I have found the following

THE LONDON GAZETTE, AUGUST 24, 1886.

So the photo can not be Alfred Turner if that is a Zulu War Medal.

So Now it can not be Alfred Turner, it must be John.
