Hi All,
Robert C.C. Long born 4 Sept 1858, Newtown Ceri [Kerry] Montgomeryshire Wales. Married Maud Johnson 1884 Foden, Montgomeryshire. Royal Wiltshire Militia 1877 resined 1st July 1879, 2nd Lt Royal Wilts 26 june 1895, reappointed 2nd Lt Royal Wilts 15 Jan 1900. Served WW1 Capt dated 4 Sept 1914, 7th Dragoon Gds.
Became a Brewer but this buisness was dissolved in 1889. 1891 Census Wyehore Marlborough Wilts, m Maud 2 kids, Brewer and wine Merchant. 1901 census Ludford Pk, Ludford, Ludlow Shropshire, 3 children, Rtd Brewer. 1921 census address Malmesbury Wilts he is a Widow.
He is listed on his Wives memorial at West Ashton Wiltshire.
Died 5 Oct 1938 Salisbury Southern Rhodesia [Zimbabwe]
