Does anyone have any details of Harry Davies’ career post-the Anglo-Zulu War?

The Natal Mercury of 22nd January 1929 indicates that he worked for the newspaper. Does anyone know in what capacity?

I am particularly interested in what he was doing during in the 2nd Anglo=Boer War.

Thanks in anticipation.

Frank,

Thanks for that, I wasn’t expecting to find him in the United States!

Looks quite different to the white-haired 1929 Mercury photograph of him.

I’m awaiting a photograph that I picked up on the off chance of a Boer War soldier surrounded by kit marked up as belonging to ‘H. Davies’. I’ll compare the three together when it arrives.

Thanks again.
