Photographed some ten years prior to the Zulu War, a number of officers would serve in the campaign. So far I believe I have identified Glyn, White, Melvill, the Hitchcock brothers.
Any thoughts on any others would be welcomed.

Thomas Carroll Dempster was in the 2nd Battalion at the time, I think those sidewhiskers have thrown you.

John, Mainly, the pose (attitude / maintenance) of the man even if he seems to appear "fatter" than Dempster in the other well -known photograph. Amitié Fred

Williams was 2nd Battalion, so it cannot be him.
