| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]No promises, but expect the dinner to be attended by a senior member of the Zulu Royal House. Preempting the question being asked no they did not appear in the film. JY |

| If anyone is dithering about attending I have just spent the last few days in Wales attending planning meetings for the event, and I think this is going to a “Night to Remember” to coin another movie’s title.
There are going to a number of descendant families of Rorke’s Drift defenders present including those of Bromhead, Bourne, Hook and R. Jones.
Henry Coleman, ably assisted by Sir Stanley Baker’s son, Glyn, will be presenting archive footage filmed during the making of the 1964 epic Zulu. Supplemented by an exhibition of movie posters from across the World advertising the film’s release. Having heard the banter between Henry & Glyn over the past few days this is going to be a treat if you are interested in the film and it’s production.
For further information see https://royalwelshmuseum.wales/invitation-to-a-zulu-dinner/?fbclid=IwAR1OeuAapYkW4edmGc0viRHYs8SoFzTEDMLKGehIT2JA8t3G9qBB-C11ePE
The dinner is already receiving national and local press coverage.

| John I'm devastated that I can't go. P.S. How did you get on with David Jackson's letter? |

| Hello Julian,
Believe it or not, I know why it was never posted. We discussed the entire contents of it on the telephone one evening. Most welcome to see it in writing after all this time.
Thanks for that.

| Well John, it's not everyday that I get to recall a phone conversation from 30 years ago. |
