DEATH OF AN OLD CAMERONIAN. The death occurred this morning of Mr Walter Darling late Scottish Rifles, an inmate of the Scottish Naval and Military Veterans' residence, Whitford House, Edinburgh. Mr Darling served in the Zulu War from 1877 to 1879 and was in possesion of the South African medal. He served 24 years in the army from 1858 to 1882. He will buried, with full military honours, in Easter Road Cemetery on Friday afternoon.
