Extract from an article Grantham Journal - Saturday 02 May 1925

DEATH OF FORMER RECTOR.— The death has occurred at West Deeping of the Rector, Rev. Henry Louis Norden who up about year ago, when he exchanged livings, was Rector of Eastwell for between four and five years. The deceased was only ill a little over a week, death being due to influenza followed pneumonia. Mr. Norden was a native of Somerset East, South Africa, and in the Zulu War served as officer with much distinction. coming to England, he prepared for Holy Orders at Chichester College, being ordained by Bishop Harold Browne,....

Henry Louis Norden born 15 July 1858, married 1] either Constance Bruyere or Catherine Holland in 1875 in St Pancras London, one son born 1885 Donald, Ventnor IoWight, 1888, 1890 Rector of St Clement with St Edmund Norwich, 1892 married [2] Ethel Marie Heald Kensington London 1892, 3 more children. 1901 census Camberwell he Clergyman CoE. He is buried Queen's Road Cemetery Croyden, Plot D33/239. He is on the findagrave website but no picture of the grave,
