If you google his name and these websites will appear with what I think is his son details.
I think I may have found his son. In the article above it states the family mourners present, first being Mr & Mrs R Emery.
I found a Robert William Mayes Emery listed in the following: www.greatwarforum.org or www.menofworth.org.uk. just Google his name and scroll down to those websites, his details will be there. The Old Contemptable's with photo. The Association was country wide.
That's all I have found so far.

Robert William Mayes Emery was the eldest son of William Mayes Emery. He was born at Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, England in 1893. He died at Worth Valley, Yorkshire, England in 1960. His mothers name was Emily.
