Hi All,
William Smith born 18 Oct 1858 Anderton Andover Hampshire, Wife Ellen Ann born 19 Oct 1858, 1891 census address Starr Lane Ashford he is a Farmers shardman ?, 1901 census 46 Hythe Rd Ashford now Tanner Shed Man, 1911 and 1921 same address. He probably dies June Qtr, 1947 age 89 in Ashford District Kent. Difficult to pin him down in the military there are two W Smith in 2/3rd Buffs and one W Smith in the 99th Wiltshire Regt these being the more likely regiments.
