Hi All,
Thomas Daw, enlisted 7 Aug 1877, age born 7 July 1859, to 50/1126 57th Regt, married Elizabeth Gaudin, 9 Aug 1884 Parish Church, Alderney, Channel Islands. They had 7 Children 2 died in infancy. Served S Africa 5 May 1879, to 13 Dec 1879, Zulu War, Commissioned Lt 26 Feb 1896, Hon Major 26 Feb 1911, served WW1 Major Middlesex Regt. Awarded MBE. Probate died 10 Jan 1920 age 61. address 41 Bath Rd, Bedford Park, Middlesex, to Widow Elizabeth. He was buried in the Old Chiswick Cemetery, Chiswick, Hammersmith, London. Sec Q, Sq C, Grave 17. it is possibly a CWGC gravestone. He appears on the findagrave but no details.
