| Michael, Not to hand but I have these of the 21st R.S.F. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This relates to the previous Colour-Sergeant insignia, but see what it states for the serge frock. This Colour-Sergeant of the 58th (Rutlandshire) Regiment is wearing the tunic, which shows the rank insignia worn in full dress. | I have just received my copy of this book on Friday and I would like to say a very big "WELL DONE" to Neil and Michael for their efforts in pulling this together. It is long overdue and I have already used it a couple of times since it arrived. It will be the go to book for research into the battle and for comparing different survivors accounts. Well recommended and a must have for anyone interested in the Anglo Zulu War. Well done both, a great job. (Nice to see Alan on the back cover as well ) Kate |
