Seems she had some mules sent to her as well
Natal Witness 6th April 1880 The mules sent from Zululand by Sir Garnet Wolseley to the Queen have been placed in the Royal mews at Windsor Castle. Her Majesty has expressed herself much pleased with the animals and as may be imagined they have attracted many visitors to the Royal stables

Seems it was Wolseley who sent them Natal Witness 15th June 1880 On Saturday three specimans of the ox tribe from Zululand (a bull, a cow and an ox) all exceedingly small, arrived at Windsor as a present from Sir Garnet Wolseley to the Queen
