Natal Witness Thursday 5th February 1880

Inspector Mansell of the Natal Mounted Police has gone up to Isnadhlwana to examine the country and report thereon. His topographical knowldge will enable him to do this thoroughly. It is to be hoped the account will be published for general information.
Natal Witness 7th February 1880

Seems the trip was postponed due to heavy rain Mr W H Thorne of the Theatre Royal is due to go to make sketches.
