PostSubject: Christmas and 2025   Christmas and 2025 EmptySun Dec 22, 2024 10:39 am

Since no-one's done it yet, may I be the first to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year.
A big thank you to all for the continued civilized discussions and deep salaams to Pete for putting up with all of us and keeping the show on the road.  It can't always be easy.  I for one am very grateful.
New information and insights on the AZW continue to appear and this truly unique website offers a vehicle in which they can appear, be shared, challenged, hailed, improved upon and made available to the general public and to expert opinion to an extent that other websites do not reach.
The range of interest and expertise available is outstanding (Pete have you considered university status for the website? - It'd be wonderful - The only woke-free academic institution in the UK!  Just think, you could be awarding yourself a degree next Xmas!)
Thanks again Pete and Good Will and Wassail to all!
Julian

Afternoon everybody,

I just wish to echo the sentiment posted above, as a relative newcomer to the forum/community I look forward to another year of debate, reappraisal of what we know or think we know and of discovery. Let us hope that a few golden nuggets appear to answer our questions and maybe raise one or two more.

Best wishes

Hi all, hope that you are all still sober after the Christmas party, "hic", "hic", LOL.

Not been too good these last few months, but feeling a little better now, age catches up with everyone eventually, but I'll keep going as long as I can.

Hope that you all had a great Christmas and that you all got what you wanted off 'Father Christmas', ha, ha.

All the very best for the New Year to all you chaps and chapesses.

Never forget the 24th (2nd Warwickshire) Regiment.

Good to hear from you, and I hope you’re feeling a bit brighter as we head into the New Year. Age may catch up with us all, but your spirit certainly shines through in your message!

Christmas was a quiet one here, but it’s always a time to reflect and recharge—hopefully, you managed to enjoy it too. And of course, we’ll never forget the 24th (2nd Warwickshire) Regiment—always worth remembering those who came before us.
