Hello fellow Zulu War enthusiasts. This is my first post as a new member. Can I start by wishing everyone this Festive Season's Greetings and an early Happy New Year. A brief intro about myself; I am in my 70th year, of Anglo-Irish descent and, no doubt, like many others on this site it was the 1964 Sir Stanley Baker movie that created a life-long interest in the events that culminated in 1879. This year my family and I finally made it to South Africa and Kwa-Zulu Natal to see some of the battlefields (Zulu and Boer War), one of which was where my great uncle fought for Queen and Country. My post however goes back to the film that started my interest all those years ago; namely the film, "Zulu". Do any members know of any sites that have a reproduction/facsimile of the original screenplay available for download? I have been able to source dialogue only transcripts culled from the soundtrack via  film script sites but the nearest I have ever been to seeing a copy of the original screenplay were a few page screenshots of Cy Endfield's personal copy that was being sold at auction (long since gone). From what little I could make out there are major differences in what was first written and what reached the screen. Fairly common with most films. Bye for now and once again all the very best to each and all.
